BlockFit is a fitness app built by an independent developer. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the control you have. The short version: your training and nutrition data is yours, we don't sell it, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your account and data are stored on our backend provider (Supabase) with row-level security, so your records are only accessible to you and — for content you explicitly share or post — the people you share it with. Progress photos are kept in a private storage bucket and shown to you through short-lived signed links; they are never public.
BlockFit can give you an AI read on a progress photo — a body-fat range and notes on muscular balance. When — and only when — you explicitly tap to analyze a photo, our backend sends that one photo, along with the basic stats the analysis needs to be accurate (sex, age, height, and body weight), to Anthropic, the AI provider that powers the analysis. This never happens automatically.
Anthropic processes the photo solely to return the analysis and does not use your photo or data to train its AI models. The result is saved to your private account so reopening an analysis doesn't re-send the photo, and deleting a photo — or your account — permanently deletes its stored analysis as well.
Nothing is public by default beyond what you choose. Posts, your public profile card, and leaderboard standing are visible to the community only when your profile is discoverable and you share publicly. Progress photos, measurements, and your food logs are always private. You can block other users, and blocked accounts become mutually invisible.
